Dirty dishes

Jennifer's post today reminded me of a poem I found in an Amish cookbook that I think of whenever I'm feeling whiny about housework or my lack of money. It goes something like-

Thank God for dirty dishes,
They have a tale to tell
While others may go hungry,
We're eating very well
With home, health, and happiness,
I shouldn't want to fuss
For by the stack of evidence,
God's been very good to us.

What a great way to look at dirty dishes. I think I will print this out and put it by my sink.
