National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers.

I actually wrote most of this as a comment to a post on Real Choice, but I wanted to repost it to my own blog.

The pro-abortion movement is dying a painful death. Advances in technology and medicine have all but wiped out the "worthless clump of cells" argument they worked so hard to brainwash us into believing. When people can watch ultrasound footage of babies at the end of the first trimester kicking, moving, sucking their thumbs, etc, they're pretty reluctant to support the "right" to have those babies torn apart in the womb.

It's affected the "my body my choice" argument, too, because, quite obviously, there's another person's body involved.

And, thanks to the pro-abortionists' push for government run health care, the privacy aspect that was the foundation of Roe V Wade is being eradicated, too. You can't on one hand say that "medical decisions" are so intimate and private that the government has no right to interfere, while simultaneously giving the government absolute control over your health care.

The only thing pro-abortionists can feasibly cling to is rape/incest and fetal conditions incompatible with life (since we already know that "life of the mother" is a bunch of bullshit). And since those make up a staggeringly small segment of abortions, getting people fired up over it is pretty difficult.

The pro-life movement is young, vibrant, and passionate. The pro-abortion movement is old, bitter, and floundering.

On NDAAP, pray especially for the souls of the abortionists, and in particular, pray for their conversion to life.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel for the Conversion of Abortionists

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

The very thought that there is a NATIONAL DAY OF APPRECIATION for a group of people who end innocent lives on a daily basis makes me want to vomit.

Great article, Katie.

Just sick and wrong, and I pray for their souls.

Jesus, you are mighty to save. I pray for peace and the warmth of Jesus' arms for all the babies who were lost to murder.
