Today my "baby" is two years old! I can't believe it! She's such a big girl, it's hard to believe that 2 years ago she was a tiny little baby in my arms.

She came 10 days past her due date, but what better day than St. Patrick's day? After all, he's her daddy's patron saint and a family favorite. Tyson prayed all during my labor for St. Patrick's intercession (it was a vaginal birth after 2 c-sections, so we were understandably nervous). I had steady contractions starting on Friday, but after contracting all day, they petered out. Then started back up on Saturday, only to stop again (and I mean all day! Like 12 hours or more!) Finally on Sunday after Mass they started back up and didn't stop. We went into the hospital around 3am (I think??) and I was already 7cm. She was born after 9am after TWO HOURS of pushing. But she sure was worth it :)

Awww. Happy happy day! Believe it or not, I actually remember her birth/your posting of it really clearly, because I was desperately hoping to go into labor as well.

Anyhow, happy birthday, sweet Rory! And hope you all had a happy St. Patrick's day!
